UNETHICAL PRACTICES OF NESTLE

UNETHICAL PRACTICES OF NESTLE

The world’s largest food and beverage company which praises itself on the name of providing quality of life products which nurtures healthy lives and practicing the unethical process of production in over 191 countries. Water to milk, Chocolate to snack and whatnot, this is the company that produces India's favorite snack "Maggi".

Violation of Rights,

The world’s largest food and beverage company which praises itself on the name of providing quality of life products which nurtures healthy lives and practising the unethical process of production in over 191 countries. Taking clean drinking water from areas that really need it, human trafficking, child labour and much more, and it is none other than the Nestle which is known to be as one of the world’s most corrupt corporations.

According to the National Public Radio, Nestle has been pumping out 200 gallons of fresh water out of Michigan – water which the people of Flint desperately are in need of. The Flint Michigan crisis has killed 12 people and hospitalized 87 people. Children were seen getting symptoms of losing hair, developing skin lesions, and going blind after bath.

Nestle not only takes water from a city which suffers a huge scarcity, but they also sell the water to those countries who don’t have access to clean drinking water and according to Nestle pure life they sell the water for 2 dollars a bottle. This company also tried to persuade the World’s Water Council to change drinking water to a need rather than a right. They said that “If water was a right, then It would have to be supplied freely, but since it’s a need in those places, water companies can sell it for as much as they want and make an enormous profit”.

  3. Wow. To think that a corporation this big and loved is up to so much evil is quite eye opening. This blog has forced me to research a bit more into the issue and i would very much like to say that Nestle has lost at least one frequent customer. A big thank you to the author for bringing this matter to light.

  6. Ali bro you know nestle isn't destroying our future or our life.. .
Nestle is established in1867 by henri nestle in SWITZERLAND but no one say that nestle is bad .. Since1867
But when nestle become successful in all over world.
Some small , and big company come together and spred rumor in market .. And wanted to damage reputation of company.. Is it good or bad

    1. It's totally bad because no one has the right to destroy nestle company reputation. Its in the hand of company itself to build a image. You can take the example of nestle Maggi which were banned for several months because it was unhealthy to eat.
